Space in shared studio
We're a designer and photographer looking to rent out space in our shared studio. The space is available now for $600/mo on a month-to-month basis.

A bit about the studio
We share two connected rooms plus a shared restroom. The building is a brick, mid-century, former police station, one floor above street level, and very safe (re: former police station). East-facing windows and even light all day, large foyer, gated entry and located dangerously close to Arizmendi (the scones!). Wifi, utilities, desk, chair, 24hr access and good conversation are included. Across the foyer is the lovey art studio of Windy Chien. The back of the building is live/work space housing a family (including an architect and design professional) who also share an entrance through the foyer. We don't see them often, but when we do, we enjoy it. There's a bike rack outside the front door but secure inside the front gate. There's a little bit of storage for small things and we like to keep a clean office. Not necessarily white gloves, but we like white desks.
A bit about the studio mates
Windy is the master tenant and a wonderful artist working in textiles. Again, she's across the hall.
Peter is a commercial and editorial photographer (NY Times, SF Magazine, WIRED to name a few). Britt is a designer who focuses on a combination of brand, identity, and interiors.
More important than anything is right work-style fit with the studio mates. It will be a great situation for a creative in a similar field (designer, producer, architect, etc) but less so for someone that needs to take a lot of phone calls, has a ton of equipment (there is minimal storage available and client meetings from time to time are totally fine), or wants an office filled with a lot of people.
